Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnels (67km – 2 hours)

Today, embark on a journey from Saigon to the Cu Chi Tunnels, approximately 75 km away. This remarkable underground network was constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during both the French and American wars. The tunnels span over 200 km, comprising a main axis system with numerous branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and other tunnels. You'll have the opportunity to crawl through this intricate system. For an even more thrilling experience, you can test your shooting skills with original AK47s and other wartime guns (subject to a surcharge). Return to Ho Chi Minh City afterward.

The tour continues with a visit to the famous Ben Thanh Market, perfect for purchasing souvenirs for your loved ones. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Start your day with a visit to the Independence Palace (Reunification Palace) and the War Remnants Museum (closed on Mondays). Then, take a leisurely stroll through the major colonial sights of Ho Chi Minh City, including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House, and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee (formerly Hôtel de Ville). The Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel, resembles a grand railway station, while the Cathedral and other landmarks offer a glimpse into the city's French colonial past.

Next, visit the enchanting Mariamman Hindu Temple, a hidden gem in the bustling streets of Ho Chi Minh City. After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cam Thanh Water Coconut Village for a brief introduction to its history. Enjoy a basket boat ride along the water coconut river, where local fishermen will teach you how to catch crabs (2 people per boat). After the boat ride, return to Hoi An Town.

In the afternoon, explore Hoi An on foot. This leisurely walk will take you through historic merchant and community houses, places of worship, and the renowned Japanese Covered Bridge. Immerse yourself in the local lifestyle with views of green paddy fields, vegetable gardens, bustling markets, temples, and charming countryside scenes. This tour provides excellent photo opportunities and a chance to interact with locals, creating unforgettable memories.

Return to Danang and check in to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast at your hotel, our local guide will meet you in the lobby for a transfer to Danang, Vietnam’s fourth-largest city and a key gateway to the central provinces. Known for its beautiful beaches and resorts, Danang is a vibrant port city.

Today, explore Ba Na Hills, a picturesque mountainous resort perched 1,500 meters high. Originally developed by the French in the 1920s, this area offers a cool escape from the summer heat.

Begin at the Cable Car station at the base of Ba Na Mountain. Ride the world-record-holding cable car—longest and highest non-stop cable car in the world (5,042 meters long and 1,292 meters high). Enjoy panoramic views of lush forests and cascading waterfalls as you ascend.

Visit the Le Jardin, historic French villas, and the Linh Ung Pagoda with its 27-meter Buddha statue. Continue to the second cable car station and explore the mountain’s peak at 1,487 meters, offering stunning views of Danang beneath a sea of clouds. Discover the Dreaming Stream, Rainbow Waterfall, Suspension Bridge, Golden Valley, and a ruined Opera House. Encounter playful monkeys and take in the breathtaking sights from the Golden Bridge before returning to the cable car station and transferring back to Danang.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our local guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in (standard check-in time: 14:00). Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Hanoi to Halong Bay (160 km): 2.5 – 3.0 hrs

After breakfast, embark on a 2.5 to 3-hour drive to Halong Bay. Upon arrival at the jetty in Halong City around noon, complete the check-in process and board your cruise. Enjoy a welcome lunch as the boat sets sail towards the bay.

In the afternoon, participate in optional activities or simply relax on board. As evening approaches, the boat will anchor amidst the stunning karst formations of Halong Bay. Dinner will be served on board, and you will spend the night on the bay.

Halong Bay to Hanoi (160 km): 2.5 – 3.0 hrs

Begin your morning with a serene sunrise over Halong Bay. Enjoy breakfast (or brunch, depending on the boat) as the vessel glides slowly through the stunning rock formations on the way back to port.
